BOSTON -- Injured Boston Bruins defenseman Dennis Seidenberg is not in the lineup for Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Second Round series against the Montreal Canadiens at TD Garden on Wednesday.

Seidenberg hasn't played since he sustained a knee injury Dec. 27, but he has been taking contact in practice recently.

Here are the lineups for Game 7 based on how they skated in warmups (7 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, RDS). It's possible that Boston's defense pairs will be different for the start of the game than they are below:

It's a Canadiens-Bruins Game 7.

"To be able to wear this jersey and represent this organization is something special," Canadiens defenseman Josh Gorges said after the morning skate Wednesday. "To be in this game tonight playing against this team, that's something special. This is the greatest rivalry in sports, and to be a part of that in a Game 7? As a player, you want to be in this game. This is an exciting day."

BOSTON -- Boston Bruins rookie forward Matt Fraser has made his Stanley Cup Playoffs debut, tasted a couple wins and one loss, and scored an overtime goal in their Eastern Conference Second Round series against the Montreal Canadiens.

Now he'll add to his NHL experience by becoming one of five Bruins who will skate in their first NHL Game 7 on Wednesday at TD Garden (7 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, RDS). The winner will advance to the Eastern Conference Final against the New York Rangers.

Not only is Fraser's Game 7 experience naught, his experience in elimination games is slim. He recalled that the only time he's been in a similar situation was a couple of weeks ago when he was with the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League and they defeated the Springfield Falcons in a best-of-5 series that went the distance.

Fraser figures he knows how to overcome his lack of experience with the season on the line.

"I think these games are obviously a different animal," Fraser said after an optional morning skate. "But you show up to the rink, you're loose, you're relaxed. There's no reason to be uptight because it won't work in your favor. You just kind of work with it, go about your business and make sure you're ready to go."

BOSTON -- They will be 250 miles away, but the Montreal Canadiens will have some extra support when they play Game 7 of their Eastern Conference Second Round series against the Boston Bruins on Wednesday (7 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, RDS).

There will be 21,273 screaming fans in a sold-out Bell Centre watching the game in the building where they are accustomed to cheering their team on the ice, not on the scoreboard video screen.

The Canadiens did the same thing for the two seventh games they played in the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs and the reaction was just as enthusiastic; the game sold out in less than two hours at $10 a ticket.

"I probably shouldn't be surprised, but I still am," Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher said. "It's just the passion that comes with the Montreal Canadiens fans. Obviously we care a lot in this room, but they care a lot as well about the logo and the history and everything that comes with it."

BOSTON -- Based on the type of game-changer defenseman Dennis Seidenberg was for the Boston Bruins in recent Stanley Cup Playoff runs, he is a player the Bruins would love to have in their lineup.

However, it doesn't sound like Seidenberg, who had surgery for an ACL/MCL injury in early January, has a chance playing in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Second Round at TD Garden on Wednesday (7 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, RDS).

"I don't think so," Bruins coach Claude Julien said when asked if Seidenberg could play in the last game of the series against the Montreal Canadiens.

BROSSARD, Quebec -- P.K. Subban is not the only member of the Montreal Canadiens who wants to silence TD Garden.

One day after Subban said he wants to take the noise and the energy of their home building away from the Boston Bruins in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference Second Round series on Wednesday (7 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, RDS), two of his teammates expressed the exact same sentiment.

It was almost as if they planned it.

"If at the end of the night we win, they're probably going to be very quiet and walking home," Canadiens forward Daniel Briere said Tuesday during an optional practice. "That would be the ultimate reward for us. But we have to make that happen. We can't just say it, we have to go out there and make it happen."

BROSSARD, Quebec -- Welcome to the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Brandon Prust.

You arrived just in time.

Prust played what was easily his best game of the playoffs in the Montreal Canadiens' 4-0 win against the Boston Bruins in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference Second Round series on Monday.

"I felt I had my legs back and was skating well, lots of energy," Prust said Tuesday before the team left for Boston. "I've just got to keep building from there."

MONTREAL -- Montreal Canadiens defenseman Nathan Beaulieu woke up Monday and went to the Montreal Canadiens' morning skate completely unaware of what the day had in store for him.

He had no idea he was about to play the biggest game of his life.

Canadiens coach Michel Therrien rolled the dice by dressing the rookie for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Second Round series against the Boston Bruins, and Beaulieu rewarded him.

MONTREAL -- Rookie defenseman Nathan Beaulieu made his Stanley Cup Playoff debut and Daniel Briere re-entered the lineup for the Montreal Canadiens in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference Second Round series against the Boston Bruins on Monday night.

The Bruins, who lead the best-of-7 series 3-2, made no changes to the lineup that won 4-2 in Game 5 on Saturday.

Beaulieu has not played a game for the Canadiens since April 9 and most recently played with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League on April 19.

MONTREAL -- The player who led the Stanley Cup Playoffs in scoring two of the past three years has failed to score a goal in his first 10 postseason games in 2014.

Boston Bruins center David Krejci, however, is confident his drought will end in the near future.

Krejci, who has three assists and is a team-worst minus-3 in the playoffs, will try to find the back of the net Monday when the Bruins play Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Second Round series against the Montreal Canadiens at Bell Centre (7:30 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, RDS).

The Bruins lead the best-of-7 series 3-2 and can advance to their second consecutive Eastern Conference Final with a win.
