Former NHL goalie Martin Biron joined NHL Live to discuss his decision to retire, reflect on his experience playing in the 2012 Bridgestone Winter Classic as a member of the New York Rangers, and the rivalry that exists in the New York metropolitan area.
"You look at the rivalry in sport, all together here in New York with Yankees and Mets, I think Rangers and Islanders has that bit of a feel too," Biron said. "I remember when I played for the Islanders and the Rangers were coming to town, you'd see yellow jackets in force everywhere at the Nassau Coliseum. It will be the same thing at Yankee Stadium because the fans are passionate."

Zubrus is excited at the thought of playing his first outdoor game.
"I know the fans, they really like the Rangers-Devils buildup and the fans that get into it at all of our games," Zubrus said. "I'm sure it's going to be a great atmosphere. I'm sure it will be an event I'll remember for the rest of my life."
NHL on the Fly analyst Kevin Weekes was a guest on NHL Live to discuss the upcoming Coors Light Stadium Series in at Yankee Stadium.
Weekes, who played for the New York Islanders, New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils, says that whenever the three New York-metro area teams get together it's always entertaining. And combined with the unique history of each franchise, the Stadium Series games at Yankee Stadium will be special.
"If you're a fan of any one of these teams, or just a hockey fan in general, you gotta be there," Weekes said. "Come on, you're playing at Yankee Stadium. We know how much people love the Yankees and we know how much people love going to Yankee Stadium. You combine that with hockey from the three metro New York area teams, you can't get a better match than that."
Joba Chamberlain, a big hockey fan who spent the past seven years pitching for the New York Yankees, joined NHL Live to discuss the upcoming Coors Light Stadium Series in at Yankee Stadium.
"It's going to be crazy," Chamberlain said. "It adds to the tradition of what the old stadium was and trying to create a new tradition at the new stadium. It's going to be incredible. It might be cold, but it's going to be good."
Etem, a native of Long Beach, Calf., grew up watching the Dodgers, and is excited about the allure and importance of a game between two of the Western Conference's top teams.
"That just adds to the excitement," Etem said. "It's kind of funny. We go over there and it's pretty half and half as far as Ducks and Kings fans, and they come over here and it's pretty much half and half too. I know the fans are excited and, yeah, they're going to be getting rowdy. It's going to be a fun atmosphere and it's going to add to the excitement."
Tickets are now on sale for the 2014 Coors Light Stadium Series game in Los Angeles and we'll talk to Anaheim Ducks forward and California native Emerson Etem about that game against the Los Angeles Kings and the Ducks' recent play.
