Jerry Bruckheimer talks Stadium Series, new book

Film and TV Producer Jerry Bruckheimer joins NHL Live to talk about the NHL Stadium Series game at Dodger Stadium. Bruckheimer is an avid hockey fan whose book, "When Lightning Strikes: Four Decades of Filmmaking" is available Dec. 17.

"I think it's going to be fantastic," Bruckheimer said of the Stadium Series game between the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings. "To open that up for hockey here in California is going to be so special. To bring some of that outdoor excitement to Los Angeles, for me it's a real thrill."

Kings legend Luc Robitaille talks Stadium Series

Los Angeles Kings president of business operations Luc Robitaille joined NHL Live to discuss the 2014 Coors Light Stadium Series game between the Kings and Anaheim Ducks at Dodger Stadium.

"It's fun because now it seems like there's a little bit of promotion behind it that's been coming from the League, and from us and the Ducks," Robitaille said. "I think everybody realizes that it's one of those events that you want to say I was there when it happened. There's a buzz about it. It's going to be a lot of fun."

Kings-Ducks Stadium Series game focus of NHL Live

There are nine games on the NHL schedule Tuesday, highlighted by the Anaheim Ducks hosting the Los Angeles Kings in a preview of a Coors Light Stadium Series game, and NHL Live with Steve Mears and E.J. Hradek, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, will have Kings great Luc Robitaille, the team's president of business operations, on the show.

With the Kings and Ducks set to unveil their Stadium Series jerseys Tuesday, we'll also talk to film and TV producer Jerry Bruckheimer, one of the biggest Kings fans in Hollywood, on the rivalry between these teams and what figures to be a magic moment coming up Saturday, Jan. 25, when they meet at Dodger Stadium.

The Nashville Predators are celebrating their 15th year of existence and we'll go out on our Arena Cam prior to their game with the Vancouver Canucks to talk to one of their alumni, Cliff Ronning.

Red Wings' Kronwall talks Winter Classic hype

Detroit Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall joined NHL Live to discuss the media hype leading up to the 2014 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic, and the collection of cameras that will follow him and the team around for the taping of HBO 24/7.

"I cannot imagine how it's going to be. I think it's going to be a little weird and a little awkward. We'll see how it comes across for the viewers, but I think it's definitely going to be a little different for us."

NHL Live previews U.S. Hall of Fame inductions

The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame inductions take place Monday night in Detroit, and NHL Live with Steve Mears and E.J. Hradek, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, will set the stage by talking to important figures in the game as Doug Weight, Bill Guerin and Peter Karmanos are enshrined along with Ron Mason and Cindy Curley.

NHL Insider Bob McKenzie also joins the show and we'll have analyst Barry Melrose revealing his best coach, player and team from the month of November while previewing what's coming up this month. There are four games on the schedule Monday night.

Cam Neely, Mike Richter talk Thanksgiving Showdown

Former Boston Bruins forward Cam Neely and former New York Rangers goalie Mike Richter were guests of NHL Live in studio to discuss the 2013 Discover NHL Thanksgiving Showdown.

To help promote the game between the Rangers and Bruins on Friday, the duo will also appear on a float as part of the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Neely is a "cagey" veteran having rode on one two years ago, so Richter the rookie will be after a few pointers.

"Cam's giving me all the intel," Richter said."

Canucks' Bieksa talks Heritage Classic, Tortorella

Vancouver Canucks defenseman Kevin Bieksa joined NHL Live to discuss his team's season to date and the hype surrounding the Tim Hortons Heritage Classic.

Bieksa attended a B.C. Lions game a few weeks ago and the staff of BC Place was already talking about it.

"For us as players it's going to be a great experience to play in front of that many fans outdoors," Bieksa said. It kind of brings you back to your childhood a little bit."

Richter, Neely in studio on Wednesday's NHL Live

One of the NHL's busiest days of the season sees 13 games on the Wednesday schedule, and NHL Live with Steve Mears and E.J. Hradek, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, will get you prepared for this pre-Thanksgiving smorgasbord.

A pair of NHL greats, Cam Neely of the Boston Bruins and Mike Richter of the New York Rangers, will be in studio to preview their showdown Friday afternoon and talk about riding on the NHL Float in Thursday's Thanksgiving Day parade.

We'll also check in with Vancouver Canucks defenseman Kevin Bieksa as his team gets set to face the Ottawa Senators on Thursday in a preview of the Heritage Classic on March 2 in Vancouver. Tickets for the game will be on sale next week.

E.J. will also Face Off with Jeff O'Neill, going head-to-head in a debate of hot topics around the League.
