Iginla's return to Calgary highlights NHL Live previews

Jarome Iginla's return to Calgary highlights a 12-game Tuesday schedule, and NHL Live with Steve Mears and Ken Daneyko, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, will get viewers set for the big matchup between the Boston Bruins and Calgary Flames by talking to NHL.com correspondent Aaron Vickers live on the Arena Cam from Scotiabank Saddledome. We'll also take a look back at some of Iginla's top Flames highlights and have an EA Sports simulation of the game.

The Los Angeles Kings travel to face the Montreal Canadiens in a rematch of the 1993 Stanley Cup Final. Kings insider Jon Rosen joins us from the Arena Cam at Bell Centre.

We'll also have live reports from the Board of Governors meetings from regular host E.J. Hradek. NHL Network insider Bob McKenzie will join us to talk the BOG and the latest happenings with the New York Islanders as they continue their California road trip against the San Jose Sharks.

NHL Live welcomes Emrick, Melrose and Starman

Dave Maloney sits in for E.J. Hradek , who's in Pebble Beach, Calif., covering the Board of Governors meetings, and joins Steve Mears for NHL Live at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network.

Four games are on the League's schedule for Monday, and Mike Emrick will join us on arena cam to preview the game between the Columbus Blue Jackets and Pittsburgh Penguins (NBCSN, 7:30 p.m.) from Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.

In addition, Barry Melrose will call in to discuss the best and worst coaching decisions of the season, and Dave Starman joins us on set to talk about the top United States players competing for a roster spot to play in the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship later this month.

NHL Live talks with Hitchcock, Wisconsin's Kerdiles

NHL Live with Steve Mears and E.J. Hradek, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, sets up a six-game Friday night in the NHL while getting you set for a weekend full of hockey.

We'll go out to Vancouver on our Arena Cam where Phoenix Coyotes forward Antoine Vermette will join us to talk about the game Friday against the Vancouver Canucks, while St. Louis Blues coach Ken Hitchcock joins the show fresh off his team's victory Thursday against the New York Islanders. We'll also check in with analyst Eddie Olczyk as well as Barry Melrose, who is here to hand out his Mullet of the Week.

This week's Tire Rack Face Off features analyst Kelly Chase debating E.J. on three hot topics from around the League. Kesler talks Heritage Classic on NHL Live

NHL Live was joined Vancouver Canucks forward Ryan Kesler to discuss the 2014 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic game against the Ottawa Senators.

Standing on the field of BC Place, where the game will be played March 2, Kesler could not hide his excitement over the experience.

"Hopefully the fans get rowdy here and make the atmosphere great for us," Kesler said. "It's going to be cold but hopefully we can heat it up again."

Canucks' Kesler talks Heritage Classic on NHL Live

There are 10 games on the Thursday schedule and NHL Live with Steve Mears and E.J. Hradek, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, will go inside of the League's historic rivalries as the Montreal Canadiens get set to welcome in their Original Six rivals the Boston Bruins.

We'll also go out on our Arena Cam to preview important matchups including the San Jose Sharks at Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Rangers at Buffalo Sabres and Dallas Stars at Toronto Maple Leafs.

Senators' Turris on 2014 Heritage Classic

Ottawa Senators forward Kyle Turris joined NHL Live to discuss participating in the 2014 Tim Hortons Heritage Classic. Turris will play against the Vancouver Canucks at BC Place, not far from where he grew up.

"I'm ecstatic," Turris said. "It's going to be really neat. It's going to be so much fun. To be able to play in front of family and friends is going to be something I'll never forget."

Rangers' Henrik Lundqvist talks new contract

NHL Live was joined by New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist after signing a new seven-year contract with the Rangers.

Once the contract was signed, Lundqvist was excited and thankful that both sides got it done.

"It was an easy decision for me to stay in New York," Lundqvist said. "I'm just really happy.

"It's a big deal. It's about my future. It's the most important contract of my career. It's hard not to think about it, but when it came down to game time, it was not a distraction. But it feels really good to have it over, to move forward here and to get an opportunity to stay a Ranger."

Henrik Lundqvist to join NHL Live

The New York Rangers signed franchise goaltender Henrik Lundqvist to a lucrative seven-year contract extension on Wednesday, and on NHL Live with Steve Mears and E.J. Hradek at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, we'll have Lundqvist on as a guest and welcome NHL insider Darren Dreger to talk about what the extension means for the Rangers going forward.

Wednesday Night Rivalry returns on NBCSN as the Detroit Red Wings host the Philadelphia Flyers at 8 p.m. ET, and we'll check in on our Arena Cam with Pierre McGuire, who will be "Between the Glass" for this rematch between teams that met for the Stanley Cup in 1997.

USA Hockey announced its selection camp roster for the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship and Don Lucia, the coach of the U.S. National Junior Team, will join the show to discuss what he's looking for from the group that will go to Malmo, Sweden later this month.

Ottawa Senators forward Kyle Turris will also make an appearance to discuss Senators hockey and give us a look ahead at the 2014 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic against the Vancouver Canucks.
