NHL Live has Predators' Nystrom, Hendricks in studio

The Buffalo Sabres have made changes to their organization and NHL Live, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, will have the latest on Wednesday's moves. NHL Network Insider Darren Dreger will join the show to update what is next for the Sabres with Pat LaFontaine joining the organization as the president of hockey operations and Ted Nolan as interim coach.

It is also Wednesday Night Rivalry on NBCSN as the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins square off and we'll preview this fierce division rivalry. Pierre McGuire, from NBCSN, will join us from Pittsburgh to preview a game that he will call "Between the Glass."

Two special guests will be stopping by the studio: Eric Nystrom and Matt Hendricks, new members of the Nashville Predators who are currently in the New York area during their season-long seven game road trip. After a toss loss to the New York Islanders on Tuesday night, the team faces the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday looking to snap a three-game losing streak. Both of these American-born players are involved with Defending the Blue Line, which gives hockey opportunities to the children of our military heroes. Plus, it's a return to the show for Nystrom as a former co-host on NHL Live last season.

Remember to submit your #AskEJ questions through Twitter via @NHLNetwork or @EJHradek_NHL, and join the conversation on Twitter as we ask you to pick the game of the night.

NHL Live talks Lightning, welcomes in Hedberg

A day after only one NHL game was played there are 11 on the Tuesday schedule and NHL Live, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, will prepare you for the night on the ice. Steven Stamkos is out indefinitely with a broken tibia, and we'll preview the Tampa Bay Lightning's first game without him against the Montreal Canadiens live on our Arena Cam in Montreal with Erik Erlendsson from the Tampa Tribune.

Two-time Stanley Cup winner Chris Osgood will join us from the Detroit Arena Cam to preview the matchup between the Winnipeg Jets and Detroit Red Wings.

Also, stopping by the studio today is former New Jersey Devils netminder Johan Hedberg for a preview of Tuesday's game against the New York Rangers. We'll get the Moose's perspective on the goaltending matchup that sees his former teammate Martin Brodeur face Henrik Lundqvist. Brodeur has recorded shutouts in his last two starts and has allowed just two goals against in his last four. Meanwhile, Lundqvist's Rangers are playing their best hockey of the season and have won six of the last seven games.

Remember to submit your #AskEJ questions through Twitter via @NHLNetwork or @EJHradek_NHL, and join the conversation on Twitter as we ask you to pick the game of the night between the ‪#NHLBlues and ‪#NHLCoyotes, two teams that have won six of their last seven.

NHL Live talks to Dubinsky, USA Hockey's Ogrean

Thursday is a busy night in the NHL as 11 games are on the schedule and NHL Live, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, will get you ready for all of them. The New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets square off on NHL Network, at 7 p.m. ET, and we'll talk to Blue Jackets forward Brandon Dubinsky, who will be facing his former team for the first time. We'll also give you a live look at warm-ups in the early games in our Ice Pass.

In the Western Conference, the San Jose Sharks are looking for a 10th straight win against the Vancouver Canucks. Vancouver is playing Game 2 of a four-game road trip which features the always difficult trip through California to also face the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks. Meanwhile, no one seems to be talking about how great the Minnesota Wild have been lately with six wins in their last seven games. On Thursday, they'll face a Washington Capitals team that has scored 16 goals in the last three games and has the best power play in the League.

Executive Director of USA Hockey Dave Ogrean will also be on our set to review Try Hockey for Free Day and preview a great year in USA Hockey with the World Junior Championship and 2014 Sochi Olympics on the horizon.

Remember to submit your #AskEJ questions through Twitter via @NHLNetwork or @EJHradek_NHL, and join the conversation on Twitter as we ask you to pick the game of the night.

Quote of the Day

Obviously a lot happened in a short period of time. At the end of the day, considering everything I went through, I really felt close to my teammates and I really feel like what we accomplished, I know we didn't win it all. ... I'm really proud of how we got there and what we did once we got there.

— Rangers forward Martin St. Louis to Jim Cerny of BlueshirtsUnited.com
