Gaborik, Capuano among guests on Cisco NHL Live

Wednesday is Rivalry Night in the NHL and Cisco NHL Live, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, with Steve Mears and E.J. Hradek, will have the New Jersey Devils' game against the Boston Bruins covered. We'll talk to NBC Sports analyst Pierre McGuire, who will be Inside the Glass, and we'll get the X-Factor for the matchup from NHL Network analyst Barry Melrose.

The Columbus Blue Jackets are trying to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs for just the second time in franchise history, and we'll talk to recently acquired forward Marian Gaborik about his transition. In the Eastern Conference, the New York Islanders continue their march toward their first playoff berth since the 2006-07 season, and coach Jack Capuano will join the show. Our Subway Fresh Face is Quinnipiac goalie Eric Hartzell and we'll talk to his coach Rand Pecknold about his Hobey Baker chances, and his team's upcoming battle with St. Cloud State at the Frozen Four.

Cisco NHL Live updates push toward the playoffs

The push toward the Stanley Cup Playoffs continues, and Cisco NHL Live with Steve Mears and EJ Hradek, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, will get you up to date on playoff implications around the NHL. With nine games on the ice tonight we'll also give you a look at pre-game skates of the early games in our Ice Pass, and discuss each one rapidly in Slapshots.

We'll get live pre-game updates from our Cisco NHL Arena Cam in Columbus with Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Dispatch, as the Columbus Blue Jackets and San Jose Sharks face off. In the Eastern Conference, the red-hot Washington Capitals play the Montreal Canadiens and we'll check in with Arpon Basu, Managing Editor of LNH.com for the preview. We'll also head out to Minnesota with the Minneapolis Star Tribune's Michael Russo as the Minnesota Wild and Chicago Blackhawks square off in a Western Conference clash. Lastly, NHL Network analyst Darren Pang will drop by the show to talk about tonight's matchup between the St. Louis Blues and Nashville Predators, and goalie play as we get to crunch time.

Hitchcock, top prospect Drouin on Cisco NHL Live

Cisco NHL Live with Steve Mears and EJ Hradek, at 5 p.m. ET on the NHL Network, will get you caught up on what you missed this weekend and preview all five games Monday night. The Carolina Hurricanes and Boston Bruins face off on the NHL Network at 7 p.m. and we'll talk to Jordan Staal about the big matchup via our Cisco NHL Arena Cam.

The St. Louis Blues made headlines prior to the Trade Deadline when they acquired defensemen Jay Bouwmeester and Jordan Leopold. We'll ask coach Ken Hitchcock about his new players and the team's recent win streak.

While Central Scouting continues to meet in Toronto, we'll catch up with one of the top prospects in the upcoming NHL Draft, Jonathan Drouin of the Halifax Mooseheads. NHL Network insider Bob McKenzie will also drop by the show to give us the latest buzz around the NHL.

Cisco NHL Live examines aftermath of trade deadline

The dust has settled on the NHL Trade Deadline and Thursday night we get ready to see some of the new faces in action with their new teams. Cisco NHL Live, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, with Steve Mears and E.J. Hradek, will introduce you to the acquisitions and get you ready for all of Thursday's matchups around the League. We'll talk to Minnesota Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher about his newest addition, Jason Pominville, and how he got the deal done.

Jaromir Jagr debuts in a Boston Bruins jersey tonight at 7 p.m. ET on NHL Network, as they face the New Jersey Devils. We'll go live to our Cisco NHL Arena Cam to get a preview of the 41-year-old as he returns to the Eastern Conference. The Tampa Bay Lightning also made a huge move in net and we'll get a live report on Ben Bishop's first start on our Cisco NHL Arena Cam in Tampa Bay.

Cisco NHL Live talks Trade Deadline deals

We're one day away from the NHL Trade Deadline and major moves have already happened. Cisco NHL Live with Steve Mears and EJ Hradek, at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network, will get you updated on both Jaromir Jagr and Derek Roy's departures from Dallas, and NHL Network insider Darren Dreger will give us the very latest on trade buzz around the League.

The Blues and Flames completed a blockbuster deal last night as Jay Bouwmeester moves from Calgary to St. Louis. We'll talk with both Blues general manager Doug Armstrong and Flames GM Jay Feaster about the move and any other deals we should expect.

NHL Network analysts Darren Pang and Craig Button will also stop by the show to give their expertise on what to expect with goalies and prospects respectively during this deadline. Cisco NHL Live will play the Matchmaker Game and use our professional matchmaker E.J. Hradek to give potential trade targets homes.

With seven games on the ice, including the Pittsburgh Penguins looking to extend their win streak to 16 games, we'll go live to pregame skates in our Ice Pass and get EJ's pick on every game in our shootout.
