ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Daymond Langkow and Jarome Iginla each had a goal and an assist, and the Calgary Flames beat the Minnesota Wild 3-2 on Sunday night for their first road win in more than a month.
Langkow scored his 20th goal in the first period and assisted on Jarome Iginla's team-leading 31st in the third. With the game tied 2-2, Iginla passed to Kristian Huselius for the winner with 5:08 to play, giving Calgary its first win away from home since defeating San Jose on Feb. 6.
Carrying the puck into the left corner, Iginla flipped a backhand pass to Huselius who was closing in on the Wild net from the left side. Huselius' low shot beat goaltender Manny Fernandez, giving Huselius two goals in as many nights.
The Flames lost 9-4 at Nashville on Saturday.
Minnesota outshot the Flames 18-5 in the second period and 14-4 in the final 20 minutes, but struggled on the power play. Mark Chouinard and Wes Walz scored for the Wild, who have just two wins since the Olympic break.
Walz's goal came after a long shot by Brian Rolston that Flames goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff thought he would grab with his glove. The rebound squirted to the right of the net, where Walz swatted the puck in with a low wrist shot.
Kiprusoff, who spent a rare night on the bench in the loss to Nashville, made 37 saves in his return. Calgary's penalty kill was especially stingy, as the Flames allowed just one power-play goal in seven opportunities. Minnesota had a full 2 minutes of 5-on-3 power play in the first period but managed only four shots.
Manny Fernandez made 16 saves in the loss.
Notes: The Wild, who rotate their team captaincy, chose Walz to wear the 'C' the remainder of the regular season. Walz was last honored in December 2000. ... This was the third contest in Calgary's seven-game road trip - its longest this season. ... An apparent Wild goal by Andrei Zyuzin in the first period was disallowed after officials ruled that Kyle Wanvig interfered with Kiprusoff. ... Langkow has recorded two points in three of four games.
