Kings host Coyotes following comeback win
Arizona Coyotes vs. Los Angeles Kings

COYOTES (11-16-4) at KINGS (16-11-6)

TV: FS-A, FS-W

Season series: Arizona Coyotes defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored in overtime on Oct. 11 in a 3-2 victory against the Los Angeles Kings. Goalie Martin Jones made 26 saves in a 4-0 shutout on Dec. 4. This is the first game in Los Angeles; the Kings won two of three at home against the Coyotes last season.

Coyotes team scope: Arizona defeated the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 in overtime on Tuesday to end a five-game losing streak and a nine-game losing streak at Gila River Arena. The Coyotes have one regulation win in their past 13 games and look to win consecutive games for the first time since Nov. 14 and 16. Forward Lauri Korpikoski (lower body) is doubtful and defenseman Michael Stone (upper body) will not play on Saturday. Arizona has allowed a power-play goal in seven of its past eight games. Goalie Devan Dubnyk, who made 31 saves on Tuesday and has started three of the past four games, will likely start on Saturday.

Kings team scope: Los Angeles was trailing 3-0 in the first period on Thursday, but defeated the St. Louis Blues 6-4 to end a three-game losing streak. Forwards Marian Gaborik, Anze Kopitar and Jeff Carter combined for 12 points. Gaborik has five goals in his past three games. The Kings are continuing a four-game homestand, and are 12-4-1 at Staples Center. Defenseman Robyn Regehr sustained an upper-body injury on Thursday and was placed on injured reserve. The Kings recalled Jeff Schultz from Manchester of the American Hockey League. "Everyone can play and everyone will play," defenseman Jake Muzzin told the Orange County Register on Friday. "When one guy goes down, other guys need to step up. That’s what we’re going to have to do, to continue winning."
