Tom Renney
New York Rangers - Head Coach

The 2007- 2008 season marked the eighth for Tom Renney with the New York Rangers and the third as the team's Head Coach. After being named the 33rd Head Coach in franchise history on July 6, 2004, Renney had led the Rangers to 40 or more wins in three consecutive seasons. Perry Pearn was named an Assistant Coach with the New York Rangers on July 15, 2004. Pearn came to New York after spending eight seasons as an Assistant Coach with the Ottawa Senators. As a member of the Senators coaching staff, he helped guide Ottawa to the organization's first Presidents' Trophy and Eastern Conference Final appearance in 2002-03, as well as three Northeast Division titles. ...more

New York Rangers - Assistant Coach

Mike Pelino was named an Assistant Coach for the New York Rangers on August 23, 2004. He served as assistant coach for the Florida Panthers during the 2003-04 season. Prior to joining the NHL coaching ranks, Pelino, served with Hockey Canada for four years, coaching at various levels of international competition. During his coaching tenure with Team Canada, he captured 11 gold medals, most notably at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, when he served as assistant coach. ...more
