Third Jersey adidas 2018-19

The Colorado Avalanche, the National Hockey League (NHL) and adidas today revealed the Avs' return to the popular third jersey for the 2018-19 season. The fan-favorite sweater originally debuted during the team's 20th anniversary season on Oct. 24, 2015 vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets at Pepsi Center.

Inspired by the logo of the Colorado Rockies hockey team that played in Denver from 1976-82, as well as the state's topography, the Avalanche's adidas adizero authentic NHL Division Rival third jersey is both a statement of regional pride and hockey history. By fusing the terrain of the Rocky Mountains with elements from the state flag, the crest features the "C" from Colorado's state flag and places it in the center of a triangular mountain design. Additionally, the navy-base jersey has white shoulder yokes to evoke the look of snow-capped mountain peaks, while a shoulder patch of the Colorado state flag sits atop the left shoulder.
This standout third jersey will be worn during 12 home contests (schedule below) this season, all of which will be against Central Division opponents as part of the Avalanche's Division Rival third jersey nights at Pepsi Center. Each Division Rival Night third jersey game will feature a unique experience for fans that is as intense as the rivalries in the Central Division. The atmosphere will include elevated in-game broadcast and social media coverage, along with the wearing of the third jersey by players and promotional giveaways for fans, both in-game and on Altitude Sports Radio.
Colorado's Division Rival third jersey will be available exclusively at Altitude Authentics, located in the Grand Atrium of Pepsi Center, beginning Sept. 13 at noon.
